Scope and non-goals
The explicit boundary of v1, the organization pilot, and later platform capabilities.
v1 design baseline. This page specifies intended behavior. Delivery and validation are tracked in the implementation plan; it is not a claim that the platform is already implemented.
V1 does not include:
- Production workloads involving regulated data
- Enterprise system integrations
- Arbitrary customer private-network access
- Public apps by default
- Arbitrary containers
- Arbitrary Node servers
- Next.js
- Durable Objects equivalent
- Object-storage/R2 binding
- Queues
- Scheduled jobs/cron
- Long-running workflows
- Raw TCP/UDP
- Full Cloudflare WAF parity
- Global edge execution
- Active-active SQLite across regions
- Full on-prem control plane
- Customer custom domains
- Native intrnl AI chat
- GitLab integration unless launch demand requires it
- Every Cloudflare Workers API
- Perfect automated security review of generated business logic
The architecture deliberately leaves room for these without making them prerequisites for a safe pilot.
